I am a second-career nurse with a background in environmental health, non-profit communications, and journalism interested in oncology and public health nursing. I completed my senior practicum in the Emergency Department and have experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aid. This fall, I will begin the MSN-FNP program at Emory University as a Woodruff Clinical Fellow. I'm proficient in Spanish and an advocate for cultural competency and diversity issues in the workplace.
