Prevention/Early Detection Special Interest Group Meeting

Join ONS Health Policy Director Alec Stone, MA, MPA, for a discussion on keeping oncology issues a top priority with United States legislative officials at the state and federal level. You'll learn about the role of OnStat and current ONS-supported bills that are in discussion on the Hill. Stone will also provide an update on the Affordable Care Act since its activation on January 1, 2014, focusing on its preventive benefits and available resources for those who are still without health insurance coverage.

ONS Health Policy Director Alec Stone will also present "ACA, Awareness, and Advocacy".

OBJECTIVES
1. Describe the OnStat purpose and enrollment process.
2. Identify Affordable Care Act preventive services and resources.
3. Discuss ONS-supported initiatives at the federal level.
