Join the members of the Clinical Nurse Specialist special interest group for a discussion on the use of evidence-based practice (EBP). The presention will touch upon the significance of EBP and the steps and selected tools for completing the process. You'll also hear a presentation and case study on the use of EBP in the sickle cell population. 

OBJECTIVES 
1. Define EBP and explain the differences between EBP, research, and quality. 
2. Assess the nursing knowledge of EBP. 
3. Describe the levels of evidence within the EBP process.
