Presenter Teresa Knoop, MSN, RN, AOCN®, CCRP, will walk you through the multidisciplinary trends in drug development, discuss the newly approved molecular and radiotherapeutic agents, and share future directions for cancer therapies.

1. Identify new drugs that have been FDA-approved for cancer treatment in 2013 and 2014.
2. Recognize how new drugs are given generic names.
3. Identify how to gain information about new drugs based on the generic naming system.
