This unique symposium, focused on the management of noncolorectal gastrointestinal cancers, is the final case-based symposia in a six-part integrated live event series during which invited faculty members will present and discuss actual patient cases from their practices. No didactic presentations will be included as part of this format. However, relevant recent clinical research findings will accompany the panel discussion as optimal therapeutic and supportive management strategies for each patient scenario are assessed.
The cross-functional faculty will feature both nurse and medical oncologist clinical experts, facilitating diverse perspectives on comprehensive patient care considerations. A number of common themes will be carried across each of the symposia in the series to create a cohesive and integrated educational platform. Video capture of the meeting proceedings will allow subsequent broad virtual access to this case-based learning opportunity.
